About us
Hypnus is a psychedelic deep techno record label founded in Bålsta, Sweden, by Michel Iseneld.
Since 2013, we have released over 60 sold-out vinyl records, all shared in the light of the full moon.
Our music is described as deep and hypnotic, with a discography ranging from dream-like ambient music to dancefloor-oriented techno with a texturized and organic feel.
Our sound design tools are developed and distributed in an official partnership with Ableton, where they currently stand among their most popular packs, with several thousand enthusiastic supporters.
Since 2014, we also curate the autobiographical mix series The Memoir, where talented sound artists compose sonic anthologies with their music.

Our VisionEver since the birth of consciousness, there has been reverence of the unknown. We have always sought to understand what hides behind the curtain of our perceptive limitations by means of emotional exploration, observance of nature, and ritualistic techniques of ecstasy.
Using nothing but our minds and a beat, we may enter a state that lies beyond our ordinary reality, sending us slithering between inner dimensions that are not easily explainable.
Today, in the era of modern sound design, we're able to shape sounds in ways not previously conceivable. This is why we have gathered; to explore our bewildering imaginary ability and to equip you with a bouquet of perceptive assets.
With this, we hope to aid the pursuit of stretching our conscious limits while connecting us to each other and ourselves in the process.
